I'm rh 9 and installing rum a iso
the problem is when I make a new linux VM it boots the first time, it ok but additional attepts resualt in
*** VMware Workstation internal monitor error ***
VM attempting to execute in undefined memory.
and I I delete the VM directory and make a new one, I get one boot
I'm mainly ask hoping someone had the problem and fix it _________________ Redhat is to windowish*
Debians software is anicant
slackware is pkg management hell
then there was gentoo
*windowish=doing bad things for no apparent reason |

I seem to get exactly this problem with Vmware 4.0.
Has anyone else seen this ?
Any suggestions on what to do? The actual install of the ebuild
went just fine and so did vmware-config.pl.
Sigh...

This is probably a vmware problem :
Maybe you still have to shift booting from cdrom *before* booting from harddisk in vm ' s "pseudo bios" ?
In Windows I do this :
start the VM, click the screen to give it focus, and when the VM logo appears that sez it's booting, hit the F2 key to enter it's BIOS settings. Go to the screen "Boot" and change the boot seek order.
It's probably something similar in RH.
