Hi,
Well, subj. says it all...I get this brief error message when I fire up XFree. Everthing works though...
What does the error mean?

are you using gnome? Gnome will complain that it cant resolve the machines local address and will run REALLY slow if not corrected. The solution is to put your hostname in /etc/hosts along with your machines IP.

Hi,
No Im using OpenBox at the moment, but Gnome isnt installed in any way...But Ill try the hosts stuff and see if this is the matter, thx.
