I'm trying to get compiz up and going on my desktop. I was able to get everything configured okay on my laptop and liked using it, since my desktop is WAY better I wanted to test it out on there.
everything seems to be going alright following the wiki, but when I come to the part test it out I keep getting this error:
this command
Code: | Xgl :1 -ac -accel glx:pbuffer -accel xv:pbuffer -fp /usr/share/fonts/misc,/usr/share/fonts/other_fonts |
gives this error
Code: |
Fatal server error:
no GLX visuals available |
I have an ati 9200 video card installed with the ati-drivers. what am I missing? |
