What are exactly the problems in Gentoo media (specifically the 2006.1 x86 LiveCD) as stated in http://www.gentoo.org/news/en/gwn/20060925-newsletter.xml ?
I have the first 2006.1 before this one... What can I do to counter those issues?
Thanks in advance... |

Well, if you've already installed there shouldn't be anything wrong with your installation: it's just a problem with running the livecd. And even then:

I haven't installed it yet and I'm interested in a networkless install... |

Well, in that case I would really advise you to use the new 2006.1 cd. Regretfully, I seem to be unable to come up with a list of changes for it. |
