What kind of card is it? What drivers are you using? |

I recently (Oct) moved from a working wired network to a wireless network using the DLink G520 (rev B3),
Code: | 01:08.0 Ethernet controller: Atheros Communications, Inc. AR5212 802.11abg NIC (rev 01)
|
And I am having a slightly similar problem, my network connection drops out at random times, and changes to slower rates. Your post seems to be the closet thing to some one else having a problem with the G520. Have you had any response/success?
What kind of Access Point are you using? |

I am still looking for some help with my DLink G520. I am connected to a Di-624 at firmware 2.76, the configuration,
Channel 6
Super G Mode : Super G Without Turbo
Extended Range Mode : Disabled
WMM Function : Disabled
802.11g Only Mode : Enabled
SSID Broadcat : Enabled
Security : WPA
Cipher Type : AES
PSP/EAP : PSK
I know the access point is not the problem, as I have a notebook computer running Windows XP with a Dlink G650 that works without a problem. Today I left a copy of iwevent running during the day and found the following,
Code: | # iwevent

I have no idea what all of this means, but it looks to drop my access point and then latter in the day reassociate with it?
Code: | # athstats

# uptime

Um, the 'rx failed due to bad CRC' and 'PHY errors' look a little high for one day of uptime.
Does anyone have ideas? |
