Mailserver: Auto-answering or "Out of office" feature

Hello!

I am running postfix+courier-imap+amavisd mailserver and i need "Out ot office" feature which means that any mailserver user can enable this "Out of office" mode while he cannot read e-mails and mailserver will automatically answer to all incoming mails with defined text like "I am on vacation, i will reply after one week...". It`s somethink like MS Outlook feature "Out of office", but i think it works only on MS mailserver systems or somethink like that.

Someone told me about one solution like creating special directory and, when user places answer mail in this directory, mailserver will answer to all incoming e-mails. Please help me to find how to do this or suggest any other solution.
