After updating baselayout and a couple of other packages, gdm suddenly wants to start a new xserver everytime I try to log in. I used etc-update after I had updated the packages and didn't check what was written over. I thought it was just some scripts in init.d... Now when I try to log in, I get a message that there already is a xserver running on that display, and that it will try to open another. I had gdm running on :0 and :1. If I try to log in from :0, it complains that there is a xserver running there and opens one on :2. If I try to log in there, it opens one on :3. In which configuration-file should I check to correct this? |

I changed the setting in gdm.conf to only :0 and not :1, and now I can log in correctly. |
