hey everybody...
i played around with openpgp and thunderbird a while back, didnt use it by that time and uninstalled it. now i was planning to test a few things with it but it wont work the way i want it to work...
situation:
i got a ~amd64 system, nearly completly up2date, i dont have really any big problems, that might be related to the following...at least nothing i can think of being related to it.
i just did a standard emerge -ua enigmail ...it compiled thunderbird (i was using thunderbird-bin) with the "crypt" useflag.
nothing went wrong, seems to have finished fine, i started my thunderbird-bin and there was no "openpgp" menu to be found. same thing with thunderbird (without the bin)...
a check "emerge -va mozilla-thunderbird" showed me it was compiled with the crypt useflag just fine..."emerge -va mozilla-thunderbird-bin" didnt show any useflag..which should be fine too i guess...
anyone got any idea why my non-binary thunderbird versions doesnt show up the opengpg menu? i didnt find anything obvious in the log files...got to admit i dont relly know where to look exactly neither... /var/log/messages didnt tell me anything |
