I want to change the bluetooth device I have on my computer from BlueZ to something else. I have tried to change it in the config file but it doesn't work. I am also trying to get files from the fone memory, but it doesn't work. I can only get them from it's memory card for some reason.

change has to be made in the /etc/bluetooth/hcid.conf file. try following th bluetooth guide : http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/bluetooth-guide.xml
