I've been trying to get my wacom volito2 usb tablet to work with kernel 2.6.18. The latest version of linuxwacom in portage (~amd64) is 0.7.4-p3 which supports kernels 2.6.15 and 2.6.16. According to http://linuxwacom.sourceforge.net/ the developer release 0.7.5-4 supports kernels 2.6.17 and 2.6.18.
Has anyone managed to get their wacom tablet rnning with kernel 2.6.18? (gentoo-sources). I thought I'd ask before diving in with the developer release.

According to the site, the latest production release is 0.7.6-1, and should work with the latest kernel. However, portage doesn't have that version yet for some reason. I'm probably going to try a manual install later.
Edit: Didn't get the latest release to work, but solved it by following this thread: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/showthread.php?p=2460421 |
