I am having an odd problem with lm-sensors. The motherboard is a Foxconn 6100. The first problem is lm_sensors reports the correct CPU temp, but reports the motherboard temp 4 degrees lower than what the BIOS shows. I have read through sensors.conf and tried the suggested changes but nothing has corrected it.
The second problem is worse. If I hook up a floppy drive, lm_sensors gives temps that are WAY off, for both the motherboard and the cpu, reporting both about 18 degrees higher than they should be.
Any clues as to what might be causing this, or how I might correct it? I have searched the forums, as well as Google, to no avail. Any help is appreciated. _________________ Of course you can have my root password. I'm on Hardened!
