Hola.
Soy nuevo en este foro aunque lo he visitado mucho y me ha resuelto muchas dudas.
Llevo con Gentoo un par de años y ahora he cambiado de máquina a un AMD 64 3800+
El problema que tengo es q estoy intentando instalar mplayer para 32 bits para q pueda usar los win32codecs, siguiendo esta guia: http://sh.nu/download/ebuilds/mplayer/
He creado el overlay, descargado el paquete y demás, pero a la hora de instalar me dice q no puede:

Ahí me quedo estancado, no se q mas hacer, ya q tanto en la guia como en el foro de gentoo de donde lo he sacado no pone nada al respecto. Tengo especificado el PKGDIR en el /etc/make.conf y he probado a poner --oneshot, pero no va, ¿q debo hacer?

Bueno yo tambien tengo un AMD64, y no tuve necesidad de hacer eso del overlay..
Solo emerge mplayer-bin desde portage , con los win32codecs y todas las uses que quieras, luego, si quieres ver los videos en tu reproductor en vez de verlos en tu navegador, que instales la extension MediaPlayerConnectivity (esta en español desde la web del proyecto nave )

Gracias.
El problema está en q al emerger mplayer me pone entre parentesis a win32codecs, por lo q formatos como wmv y algun real no se me ven (solo se oyen) y muchos streamings no me van.
Voy a probar MediaPlayerConnectivity.

Por eso es que debes emerger mplayer-bin (no mplayer  )
Tambien puedes revisar en el wiki de gentoo un articulo sobre las uses de mplayer (te pondria el link, pero ahora estoy desde links, sin poder iniciar las X  )

Gracias por el link.
El programa q me pasaste no va del todo bien, Mplayer me peta en muchos de los videos online, pero aun sigo sin poder ver los wmv.

Yo uso el mplayer-bin sin problema en el amd64
Revisa las uses.
