Guten morgen allerseits,

ich versuche gerade, die obige webcam in Betrieb zu nehmen; ich mache das zum ersten Mal, also bitte nicht böse sein, wenn die Frage allzu dämlich sein sollte...

Ich habe sie an einen USB Port angeschlossen, sie wird auch erkannt. dmesg sagt jedenfalls:

Laut www.qbik.ch/usb/devices wird diese Webcam unterstützt; ich habe den Kernel compiliert mit Device Drivers->Multimedia devices->Video capture adapters->v4l USB devices->USB SN9C10x pc camera controller support.

v4l funktioniert, meine TV Karte ist als /dev/video0 anwesend und kdetv bringt auch Bilder. Ich dachte naiverweise, es müsste jetzt ein /dev/video1 für die Webcam geben - gibt es aber nicht. Auch in /dev/v4l/ gibt es nur vbi0 und video0. Habe ich da etwas Grundsätzliches nicht verstanden???

Update: Ich habe jetzt spca5xx emerged und ge-modprobe't, und siehe da... /dev/video1 ist da und kdetv bringt auch ein (noch allerdings beschissenes) Bild.
