Streamtuner / Streamripper prob with windows media player

I am ripping many mp3s with streamtuner/-ripper and never had any problems playing them with XMMS, Mplayer, or Winamp. Streamtuner/-ripper is a really great thing, I dont want to miss it on my PC.

Now I want to play these mp3s on Windows Media Player (on PC on work / my Windows-Smartphone) but wmp plays only about 50% of them, the other half of it is corrupt by the opion of wmp.

I guessed that it has to be a problem of the german special characters like öäü but there are files with nearly the same name, one plays with wmp, the other doesn't. I compared the output of mp3_check and mp3check of the running/"corrupt" files, but I didn't get usable results.

Does anyone have the same problem? Does anyone know, why wmp has problems in playing these files?
