I am trying to set up a server that will host user home directories. I would like to have the users authenticate over the network to the server using nss-mysql or some other pam plugin.
I would rather not have to rsync the /etc/passwd on the server.
What is the easiest route for setting up server mounted home directories for users on client workstations? _________________ Jonathan S. Romero

I'd love to have the answer to that one. For authentication, I would recommend you check out this thread. As for mounting the user's home directory automatically whent hey log on, I'd love to know that one though I haven't checked it out yet... _________________ M$ Windows: When in doubt, REBOOT
