|
|
I upgraded and I get this now:
* Setting up xdm ...
/sbin/start-stop-daemon: stat /usr/bin/xdm: No such file or directory (No such f
ile or directory)
* ERROR: could not start the Display Manager...
xdm: no process killed [ ok ]
I have to log in and start kdm manually.

Verify that kdm is configured as your display manager in /etc/rc.conf. Perhaps you accidentally nuked it with etc-update after your updates? _________________

Is this set in /etc/rc.conf:
Code: | DISPLAYMANAGER="kdm" |

Awesome, all fixed.
DISPLAYMANAGER has been moved to /etc/conf.d/xdm |
