Ok, i have two kernels......ck-sources and gaming sources. Both have been built with the same .config file.
Trouble is scsi emulation only works on ck-sources and not gaming??
Any ideas? _________________ www.iamthepenguin.com |

I recently switched from ck-sources to gaming-sources and SCSI emulation kept working without any problems.
Did you create a new grub/lilo entry for gaming-sources? If so, are you still passing the proper options to the kernel? |

Hm, I have 2 IDE cdrom's...1 CDR (which would req. the scsi emu) and 1 DVD.
Cant I use both with gaming?

hehe.....sorry, i see what you mean
Just out of interest though, i wonder why it would work on one kernel and not the other? I've checked the kernel options and they both seem to have the same relevant options. They both have the same boot time commands....????
Still, i'll probably try removing IDE cdrom support from the kernel tonight. I'll post the results _________________ www.iamthepenguin.com |
