[SOLVED] DCRAW-8.39 breaks Digikam-0.9.0-[beta2-r1]

With DCRAW-8.39, Digikam is unable to load correctly into the editor a raw file and segfault if I try to click on the blank screen that shows up instead of the image. Downgrading to DCRAW-8.03 solved the issue.

It tooks me some time to figure this out, so that's the reason of this post, this might help someone else.
I'm currently asking the Digikam developers if this is something they are aware of.

Ok, the beta3 and up of Digikam will embedd a version of dcraw which means that an external library will not be required anymore. Therefore, it is simply not worth taking care of that at our level.

I guess beta3 will be out very soon now.
