Samba, useradd and upper-case names

Hi all.

I'm trying to migrate from an NT4 domain to Samba. Samba's vapire functionality fails miserably on user names and group names that have upper-case characters. Who has a script that I can substitute as my 'user add' script in my smb.conf to deal with this? I've seen them around - ages ago - but can't find one now.
