Ich versuche ein System-Upgrade durchzuführen. Dabei bekomm ich folgende Meldung:

Rutscht Xorg-X11 7.1 gerade in den Stable-Tree oder warum kommt es da zu Komplikationen? Ich hab hier im Forum schon etwas gesucht, aber leider nichts passendes gefunden. Wenn ich mesa-progs blocke, dann wird es von Xorg-X11 7.1 benötigt. Zumindest daher die Vermutung, daß 7.1 in den Stable-Tree rutscht.

Mach mal emerge --sync.
Bei mir gibt es sowas nicht. Steht auch gar nicht im ebuild drin.

Ich hab - seit dem das Problem aufgetreten ist (gestern Abend) - dreimal den Portage-Tree gesynced. Gehört ja auch zwingend dazu, wenn man sein System up2date halten möchte. In dem eBuild selber find ich auch keine Abhängigkeit speziell zu nvidia-glx.

Installiert mal die nvidia-drivers.

Und schau, ob der andere Kram von nvidia weg ist.

Ansonsten unmerg mal mesa-progs und schau, was er dann sagt.

Würfelt nicht dein System durcheinander. Ist nur automatisch installiert.

Schau mal, dass deine packages.* von allem clean sind, was damit zu tun haben kann.

nvidia-drivers wurde emerge't, soweit so gut ..

Danach bekomm ich beim emerge'n von x11-apps/mesa-progs folgenden Fehler:

Hab schon diesen Thread gefunden, aber auch das wechseln auf opengl per eselect bringt obigen Fehler.

Komisch solche Probleme hatte ich noch nie.
Aber gut:

emerge --skipfirst und lass erstmal den Rest von X durchlaufen, sofern das geht.

Okay .. die Lösung ist anscheinend das Paket nvidia-glx einfach zu unmergen. Dann meckert auch kein Programm mehr, daß es dieses Paket benötigt.

Nachdem ich x11-libs/mesa neu emerge't hab lief immerhin x11-apps/mesa-progs durch. Nachdem ich dann für wine auch den Ausgangsfehler bekommen hab, hab ich mal mit emerge --unmerge nvidia-glx wohl den Volltreffer gelandet 8O
