I am new to Gentoo , I was using Debian for few years..
I foud this distro very interesting, but I have problem icon_sad.gif

My cdrom doesnt work (it does, but veeeeeeeeeery slow)
I tried gentoo-source and gaming-source (2.4.20)
I disabled Plug & Play option in bios, no go
with kernel used during installation, cdrom worked fine
so it must be kernel issue.
Did I forget something to enable in kernel?
Pleas help, because i like this distribution very much icon_biggrin.gif
