I have install IPW2200 drivers, using this instructions http://gentoo-wiki.com/HARDWARE_ipw2200#Kernel_2.6.17

this is my wireless card ---> 04:02.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 2915ABG Network Connection (rev 05)
but went I get to the point to load modprobe i get this Error
# modprobe ipw2200

Did you try re-installing ieee80211? You should have to emerge that as well, make sure your kernel sources point to the kernel you're booting when you install it.

No i havent update it, this is the vertion im using gcc version 4.1.1 (Gentoo 4.1.1)

I have this problem with all modules I recompile (nvidia, ipw3945, svga_helper...)

I have fixed it recompiling my kernel
