well i had just chrooted into the new environment when the power went off. Is there any way to get back to that or do i have to start over the installation?
it was right after this part from the handbook
Code Listing 5: Chrooting into the new environment
# chroot /mnt/gentoo /bin/bash
# env-update
>> Regenerating /etc/ld.so.cache...
# source /etc/profile
# export PS1="(chroot) $PS1" |

boot the livecd, mount everything again to /mnt/gentoo, /mnt/gentoo/boot, /mnt/gentoo/proc and so on, then chroot
you'll be right back where you left off. _________________ "Mr Thomas Edison has been up on the two previous nights discovering 'a bug' in his phonograph." --Pall Mall Gazette (1889)
