Hello
If this is the wrong section, so sorry for that, as you can see i'm new, ok then, my question is just like the subject, howto install gentoo on Jornada 720. It has a 200Mhz CPU StrongARM, and i have a 1GB Compact Flash Card for it. I know that there are some other distributions for my jornada, but i want Gentoo. . All i've got is http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/base/embedded/index.xml
Thanks very much and cya |

Instructions are heare:

I advise you to install other linux to your PDA, it would make installing gentoo easier.

For future reference, the new location for the above guide is http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/base/embedded/cross-development.xml.
Beware that the guide's contents are somewhat outdated now. Mike Frysinger has been secretly working on a newer embedded/cross-devel handbook with a much broader scope. It may be finished in 2008 sometime. |

Oh wow, is this only with the 720? I have a 680 I'd love to use this on. _________________ Registered Linux User #417411 |
