Beryl 'slow' and distorts sounds?

Just got the Beryl to 'work' with AIGLX. Only problem is that it seems perhaps a bit slow. Not sure as I only messed around it for a while so it might be just some configuration issue.
Another, more irritating issue is that it distorts sounds for some reason. Every playback is slightly distorted when using beryl, after switching to a normal window manager the distortion ends.

Does anyone else has similar symptoms? I'm using nVidia card and made things as pointed in wiki.

Just noticed there has been a update for beryl-0.1.1. I'll emerge that and see if that helps.

edit: The upgrade didn't help but this would seem a configuration issue as the sounds work when there's only browser open but when I opened a terminal and moved it a bit the system seemed to slow and sound distorted... also now when typing this it works perfectly.
