IVTV 0.8.0 + PVR150 = "not an ivtv driver device"

This is weird. I've upgraded to kernel 2.6.18 and ivtv 0.8.0, and most things work perfectly. MythTV runs happily in every way. The only thing that doesn't work is setting the denoisers up with ivtvctl, which I normally do at each login, because my cable signal is total crap. However, ivtvctl now reports "not an ivtv driver device!", and spits out a failure code. Yet there's nothing wrong in dmesg at all.

That makes me suspect a firmware problem, or something to do with the fact that they ripped a bunch of stuff out of ivtvctl for version 0.8.0. Is anyone else having this problem? I may end up filing a bug.

ivtvctl has been replaced by v4l2-ctl except for some specific ivtv options. When ivtv is in mainline ivtvctl will dissapear.
