Ciao a tutti, stavo cercando un ricevitore tv ma sono un po' allo sbando. Non capisco bene se i modelli sul mercato che possono ricevere il "digitale terrestre" possono riceve anche la tv normale... Quali poi funzionano sotto linux? Verso cosa mi devo orientare?

sei messo già meglio di me: io cerco un ricevitore dvb-t, dvb-s, antenna, e che faccia anche da stb 
P.S.: mi dicono che gli elgato siano buoni (tipo gli hybrid). Ma anche i terratec. Per la compatibilità con linux, purtroppo, ancora non ho trovato molto.

Di che stai parlando? Forse lo cerco anche io ma non lo so...
Quello che vorrei e' un coso che attaccato a un computer mi faccia vedere la tv. Che mi serve?  Traduci tutte le sigle che hai scritto!

allora, da una breve quanto infruttuosa ricerca, ho scoperto che la maggior parte degl'apparecchi ni commercio è un'estensione che trasforma il pc in un televisore, a cui poi tu - come ad un televisore, appunto - devi attaccare un ricevitore.
Quello che cerco io è un decoder (STB : Set Top Box), che integri la possibilità di ricezione satellitare (DVB-S: Digital Brodcasting Satellite), DDT (Digitale Terrestre, ovvero, DVB-T: Digital Broadcasting Terrestre) e antenna analogica comune.
Ora, del DTT me ne frega quant zero, ma purtroppo quello che ho trovato fin'ora o sono schede che permettono l'attacco ai tuoi tre ricevitori: antenna, decoder satellitare e decoder DTT, oppure sono dei Set Top Box specifici per una delle due tecnologie: DVB-T o DVB-S.
