Ho un problema abbastanza fastidioso, per esempio quando apro kate nel punto dove voglio scrivere mi spunta una barra nera e non riesco a vedere cosa scrivo, questa cosa succede anche con kmail e altri programmi...vi inserisco uno screen.

abbastanza fastidioso in effetti!
hai già controllato se il tuo sistema è consistente?
dovresti postare altre informazioni come:
-scheda video, drivers in uso, versione xorg
-versione del kernel
-versione di kde
-eventuali errori in /var/log/Xorg.0.log o /var/log/messages
(se ce ne sono)

mi viene da dire che il colore della linea corrente e' impostato a nero, e il testo pure.
prova a guardare nella configurazione di Kate: menu' Settings -> Configure Kate -> Fonts & Colors -> Current Line (scusa ma ce l'ho in inglese). |
