KDE session crash installing Beryl+AIXGL @ KDE @ ATI

I'm trying to install AIXGL + Beryl in an ATI powered machine with KDE. I've followed the Gento-xEffects Wiki but, when starting my KDE session, the Beryl logo showed (very slowly) an then the session broke somehow and returned me to the login screen.

Because of the slow showing of the Beryl logo I thought the problem was I didn't install any ATI drivers, so I emerged "ati-drivers" and then used "aticonfig --initial". The problem now is that Xserver freezes when starting my KDE session (I can recover with Ctrl+Alt+BackSpc going back to the login screen, but I cannot start a session).

Any clues?
