Hello.
I'm trying to install gentoo on my girlfriends old ibook g3. Booting with the 2005.1 release seems to work partly. After a few moments i get a kernel panic. "Unable to mount root fs on unkown-block (1,0)" is the error i get. Someone has an idea how to resolve that?

edit. uh, before you ask. the 2006.0 and 2006.1 releases are not working at all.

Tried with 2004.1 release. Now i get a ramdisk error. Suppose i have to increase my 64MB of RAM?

| After upgrading to 256MB Ram everything works. |
