Since last emerge --update --deep --world, I get this message everytime I run su, then passwrd :

configuration error - unknown item 'PASS_MIN_LEN' (notify administrator)

"administrator" ?... Is it talking about me ? But still, I get a root session. Just this message I'm wondering about.

If it allows you to login to the root, then ignore it. I remember this error a long long long time ago. I ran etc-update and I THINK not 100% that it is a update in there for a .conf file.
