In July I got interested with Python and decided to write something useful. As gentoolkit's eclean did its job not as good as I wanted and needed a long time (a few minutes!) I wrote Newdistcleaner. The project's page is here http://www.liongene.org/Newdistcleaner
Please report your impressions/suggestions here or write to projects@liongene.org
Edit (23/11/2006):
I found and fixed a small bug appearing when newdistcleaner is used as a non-root user.
Edit (01/09/2007):
A new version is finally available! Anyone interested is welcome on http://www.liongene.org/Newdistcleaner.

Nice work! But this should probably be in the "Documentation, Tips & Tricks"-forum. _________________ Please provide detailed tracebacks and your emerge --info when posting compile errors.

Some time ago, when I looked for a similar program, I found it here moved from "Portage and Programming". That's why I posted it here.
Thanks for appreciation
Edit: Server problems are gone, please download the software |
