I have Windows and gentoo installed on two partitions of the same hard drive. The system clock keeps screwing up everytime I load gentoo rather than windows. Lets say it is 11:15 am with the system clock if I load windows it is fine but if I load gentoo the clock says like 6:00 pm. THen, if I restart my computer with windows, then now the windows clock is messed up. I hope there is a solution to this problem.
Thanks |

Have you tried setting CLOCK="local" and CLOCK_SYSTOHC="yes" in /etc/conf.d/clock ? |

from my "/etc/conf.d/clock"
Code: |
# Set CLOCK to "UTC" if your system clock is set to UTC (also known as
# Greenwich Mean Time). If your clock is set to the local time, then
# set CLOCK to "local". Note that if you dual boot with Windows, then
# you should set it to "local".
CLOCK="local"

from my "/etc/conf.d/clock"
Code: |
# If you want to set the Hardware Clock to the current System Time
# during shutdown, then say "yes" here.
CLOCK_SYSTOHC="yes"
