Evolution Junk Filter with IMAP - not really working

I'm using Evolution to connect to an IMAP account on my buddies server. The built-in junk filter that came with Evolution doesn't really seem to doing much. Maybe this is because of the IMAP, but I really need to use IMAP.

If IMAP is causing the problem, is there something I can do to get around this issue? Or is there some other plugin that works better with IMAP through Evolution?
