Je pense que tu es sous Gnome, si tu es sous gnome 2.14, il te faut un thème hybride (c'est à dire supporté à la fois par compiz et metacity) car compiz et gnome 2.14 ne font pas bon ménage d'un point de vue thème. Je te file le lien attends deux petites minutes.
EDIT : essaye tout de même quelques fois cela tient à peu de choses : ici

Gnome oui, j'ai oublié cette petite précision capitale  . Cependant, meme sans compiz mon écran est distordu....

Aiglx => s'il suffit d'insérer la ligne du genre Option "AIGLX" "true" dans xorg.conf alors j'utilise aiglx, sinon, je ne sais pas faire autrement.

Salut,
Si tu veux utiliser aiglx, il faut recompiler xorg-server avec cette flag:
| Code: | | echo "x11-base/xorg-server aiglx" >> /etc/portage/package.use |
Pour ta carte graphique intégré 855GM ...
Tape le nom de ta carte dans le moteur de recherche du forum
Tu devrais trouver des infos dans plusieurs topics ...
