Couple things. First, it is an SVN, so you're playing with fire. You should probably wait a little while and see if a new version has been committed that solves the problem.

Second...

So... do you have kdecoration from the kdebase development package installed?

Also, if you use [code] tags instead of [quote] tags you wont get those smiley faces. :wink:

Moved from Desktop Environments to Unsupported Software. Package not from the tree, but an overlay.

I have a feeling I'm missing the package which provides kdecoration as a depend. I know I need to add kdebase, but I can't do that until I know what package in kdebase-meta provides it.. Anyone know?

Code:
$ equery b kdecoration.h
[ Searching for file(s) kdecoration.h in *... ]
kde-base/kwin-3.5.5-r2 (/usr/kde/3.5/include/kdecoration.h

Code:
$ equery f kwin | grep decoration
/usr/kde/3.5/include/kcommondecoration.h
/usr/kde/3.5/include/kdecoration.h
/usr/kde/3.5/include/kdecoration_p.h

/usr/kde/3.5/lib/libkdecorations.so.1.0.0
/usr/kde/3.5/share/applications/kde/kwindecoration.desktop
Try kde-base/kwin from the xeffects overlay if there is one.

I've added kdebase / kwin as a dep now. Should resolve this.
