Hi,
I am getting the following kind of messages from the campus security:
Quote:
The alert, on port 2556, seems to indicate that the host may
have been looking for other hosts infected with a Bagle worm.

I have been trying to find out how to run a complete disk scan on my server. I could not find clear cut information on what all to install or how to check if there is any inbuilt thing in Gentoo which can be used for virus scan. It will be helpful if someone can outline that.
Thanks

prs

Check what is using that port before deciding that the system has been somehow compromised, netstat -tavv.
