I installed KDE and Kmilo plugin. NVRAM is enabled in kernel and I have chmod 666 /dev/nvram. However, I do not see the OSD when I change the volume on my laptop. What can be wrong with my config?

Some docs say that I should add my user to the nvram group but I don't have it. Should I create it? Also, I've seen somewhere something about configuring udev and nvram. What should I use? |

Oh, nevermind, I figured everything out! Just add a new rule to udev:
KERNEL "nvram", NAME="%k", GROUP="nvram" |
