Ho appena terminato l'installazione e ho riavviato.
All'avvio ricevo il seguente messaggio:

Cheking root file sstem ...
ext2fs_chek_if_mount: No Such file or directory while determining whether /dev/ROOT is mounted
fsck.ext3: No such file or directory while trying to open /dev/ROOT
/dev/ROOT: The superblock could not be read or does not describe a correct ext2 filesystem.
If the bdevice is valid and it realy contain an ext2 filesystem (and not swap or ufs or something else),
then the superblock is corrupt, and you might try running e2fsck whit an alternate superblock:

e2fsck -b 8193 <device>

Filesystem couldn't be fixed :(
Give root password for mantenance (or type Control-D to continue)

Qualcuno sa aiutarmi?

Grazie anticipatamente!

Beh, perché ti possiamo rispondere ci devi almeno dire come hai partizionato, quali sono le tue partizioni, cosa ci hai messo su ogni partizione, con quale filesystem... Non abbiamo la sfera di cristallo...

Ciao.

Scusatemi, voglio dire non è normale che nel file in questione esista la scrittura "/dev/ROOT" ma dovrebbe esistere la scrittusa /dev/hda1 giusto?

devi avere /dev/tuoDevice
dove tuoDevice è la partizione su cui hai messo la root.

Allora aggiungi il tag [RISOLTO] al titolo
Sarà utile a chi troverà il tuo thread in futuro :D
