hi community,
'm sure is a newbie question...
But what's the difference about this two files?
The porpuose is the same?
Are valutated both? And in which order?

If someone can help me, i'll appreciate it very much.

uhm. it's not a good thing...

By the way, for the sake of the community...
I found that:

And in a recent installation i don't find login.access.
I suppose that file belongs to the old package pam-login that you need
to unmerge to upgrade the shadow package.

Briefly: login.access (deprecated) in favor of access.conf
if you have both file use access.conf, because it will still be valutated after the
upgrade of shadow and the uninstallation of pam-login.
