Hellow!
I emerged wireshark, but now I don't know how to start it! I try it from a terminal window as a user and as root but nothing happened. How can I start wireshark?
Thanks! |

What are you trying to do with wireshark?
Wireshark comes with several programs, two main ones being tshark and wireshark. Binary wireshark is a GUI, so you need to be running X to use it. If you don't have X, you could use tshark, which is like text-mode wireshark. Which one is right for you and how to run it depends on what you want to do. |

I want to execute wireshark as i did before with ethereal, in graphic mode into my kde desktop.
I emerged wireshark and all went fine, but now I don't know how to execute wireshark. when I write "wireshark" in a terminal, it doesn't do anything ( the program do not appear ).
What happens? |
