|
|
I got Sagem my501c mobile phone, and want to use it as modem for internet connexion.
I am registered for GPRS use (not WAP); I'd first try to use it as USB; then, if it really impossible, I will buy bluetooth key for my computer, so you can give these tips any way.
As modem, the phone is recognised as device 079b:0030 but I cant figure out which driver to load, and how to configure.
Under Windows, this phone is recognised as serial port. But Linux does not create any additionnal ttySx; Gentoo just give me some /dev/usbdev<x>.<x>_ep<xx>.
Do I need to use wrapper ? simply wvdial ? libusb like for other usb modems ?
Technically, I am in France, and use "I-Mode" service on Bouygues Telecom network. Thanks for help _________________ DEMAINE Benoît-Pierre (aka DoubleHP ) http://www.demaine.info/
