Does anyone know how to fix keyboard repeate rate, if its too slow?
Its slow everywhere - in gentoo shell and in KDE. For example if I want to scroll down using down arrow key, it moves about two lines per second |

I noticed that I had the problem only when I was logged in as root. When I made a new user everything was OK (logged in as that user)
How can I set repeat rate OK to root, does anyone have any idea? Its not that important anymore, but it would be nice to know |

Google found this page which says the solution is the kbdrate program which is part of the kbd package. |
