I need help whith internet conexion

I need to know how config my internet conexion becose the message say that i don't have the dhcphd that i need 122 kb more... and i don't know how download this. becouse i don't have internet conexion.
I'm new in this operating system and i don't wanna to leave it so that I did not know.

Kanibal, I don't quite get your question. Please try to explain better what the problem is. Alternatively, if you prefer to write in Spanish you can post in the Gentoo spanish forum, or write me privately in spanish if you want

I think that the problem is that he needs some additional download to install dhcp, but he can't download anything because dhcp is needed to connect to the internet.

Anyway, as Batistuta said, if you talk spanish, post in the spanish forums so we can understand better what your problem is. After posting in the spanish forums, provide a link to that here, cause we two are watching this thread, that way we will know that you posted there.

The problem is that I cannot have connection to intenet. The network to which I connect myself has proxy. I need to know like connecting to me to internte. The error message says that I need to unload dhcpcd or something thus.

El problema es que no puedo tener conexion a intenet. La red a la que me conecto tiene proxy. Necesito saber como conectarme a internte. El mensaje de error dice que necesito descargar el dhcpcd o algo asi.

So I guess you have already installed Gentoo. Right? So the first question is how do you obtain an IP address? Is it static, or via dhcp? If it is via dhcp you need to have a dhcp client installed as suggest in the installation guide
But the thing is that I'm not sure what you've done so far.
Please provide some info on
- What type of installation you have done (networkless or standard)
- Your network setup
