Brother HL 2040 laser printer - bad margins

Hi,

I just installed a Brother HL 2040 laser printer on my server so everybody in the house can print. I am using cups + samba. Everything is fine except the bottom margin of the page. For some reason, both the top and the bottom margin are "printed" at the top so I get a huge block of white space at the top and text on the end of the page with no bottom margin. I've tried playing with the page settings in openoffice but to no avail. Strangely enough, printing from the windows computers works perfectly. I googled for things like driver settings but did not find something useful. What should I do?
