I want my mysql remote accessible, but when I try to connect with windows to it with

telnet 192.168.2.2 3306

I get a connection refused error. I try'd to add user with remote control but it didn't work.

Here is my "my.conf"

Code:
# /etc/mysql/my.cnf: The global mysql configuration file.
# $Header: /var/cvsroot/gentoo-x86/dev-db/mysql/files/my.cnf-4.1,v 1.3 2006/05/05 19:51:40 chtekk Exp $

Your server doesn't listen on 192.168.2.2

No, it *only* binds to 127.0.0.1
And that makes it only available on the system itself.

I think 0.0.0.0 would bind it to all interfaces.
