Hello,
I have a rather peculiar issue with my Dell C640 Laptop. When I issue the command:
Code: | echo -n standby > /sys/power/state |
the laptop enters standby mode, yet the LCD screen remains blank, but on. If I issue the command:
Code: | /usr/sbin/radeontool light off | The LCD does turn off. However, once the LCD is off, if I tell the machine to go into standby, the screen turns on.
The graphics card is:
ATI Technologies Inc Radeon Mobility M7 LW [Radeon Mobility 7500]
I would really like to be able to put the machine in standby and have the monitor turn off. Any ideas on things I should try? Thanks! |
