Hi,
I'm a brand new user of Gentoo and of the linux World.
yesterday, I ran :
- emerge --sync
- emerge --update --deep -world
- emerge --depclean
- revdep-rebuild
- etc-update
I reboot my computer and got this error:
find /lib/rcscripts/net.modules.d/: No such file or directory
no interface has been loaded
I checked and it seems that there is no folder /lib/rcscripts/net.modules.d.
The link between net.eth0 and net.lo is Ok.
If I run: ./net.eth0 start:
./net.eth0: line 34: /lib/rcscripts/net.modules.d/helpers.d/functions: No such file or directory

By "link" you mean symbolic link, don't you?
If this is OK, Uberlord has recommended that net.lo be deleted and baselayout emerge'd again. The error appears to be because net.lo is old (<baselayout-1.12.x) and hasn't been updated.
