Hello gentooists,
I'm trying to install VLC (which I already succeeded in the past) but, this time, I'm facing some weird problem:

I obviously did emerge wxGTK with unicode... however, this message never goes thus my post ;o)

| Try re-emerging wxGTK, and if that doesn't work try going back to a stable package of VLC. Also instead of defining use flags on the command line, which is not permanent, put the use flags you want in either /etc/make.conf or /etc/portage/package.use. The easiest way is to just do a echo "media-video/vlc use flags you want" >> /etc/portage/package.use. |
