I am trying to run "./configure" but I did get an error!

localhost folder # ./configure
checking for gcc... gcc
checking for C compiler default output... configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables

A friend of me, told me that I am running 64bit, an the program was made on 32bit, so I tried "setarch"

localhost folder # setarch i686 ./configure
checking for gcc... gcc
checking for C compiler default output... configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables

But I still get the same error message, may anyone help me futher...?

Thanks from OddThing
